Last year, I thrifted a pair of damaged pants. When a few stains and scratches didn’t come out in the wash, I decided to paint over them! I began documenting the process on Tiktok, and grew a following from it. On them, you’ll find the painted ladies, POFA (Palace of Fine Arts), a cablecar, a Mission burrito, the Bay and Golden Gate bridges, and so many other iconic SF vignettes. After spending 5 months on them, the SF Painted Pants are one of my proudest projects to date.
